Notes from New Zealand by Edward Kanze. Kanze describes his quest to see the kiwi, the tuatara and native frogs in the wild. In the process he documents his travels throughout the country and the fieldwork he volunteered for.

I learned some bits about the fauna and flora of NZ and his travelog is mildly interesting, but overall didn’t get much out of this book. I had bought this book for my trip to New Zealand. Rating: 4/5
